Palm cove is a very small little town (just like Niagara-on-the-lake) except it is by the waterfront so it is famous for the nice beach. 30 minutes by bus from cairns and you get to Palm Cove. Lots of nice boutique hotels and restaurants so that you can relax for the afternoon. We ate in a restaurant recommended by the Hilton cairns staff and it was good and relaxing. Then we of course got some sun tan on the beach and I realized something was moving everything when the wave came on the sandy beach. Check this out yourself. Pretty cute.
